DATA PROTECTION DECLARATION

As a user of our website, you will receive all necessary information in this data protection declaration about how, to what extent, and for what purpose we or third-party providers collect data from you and use it. The collection and use of your data is carried out strictly in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG). We feel particularly committed to the confidentiality of your personal data, and therefore work strictly within the limits set by the legal requirements. This personal data is collected on a voluntary basis if this is possible for us. We also only pass this data on to third parties with your express consent. We ensure a high level of security by using SSL encryption for particularly confidential data such as payment transactions, or as far as your enquiries to us are concerned. At this point, however, we would like to draw your attention to the general dangers of using the Internet, which we cannot influence. Particularly as for e-mail traffic, your data is not secure without further precautions, and may be collected by third parties under certain circumstances.

Rights of the persons concerned

You have the right to ask for confirmation as to whether the data concerned will be processed, and to access such data, as well as to further information and a copy of these data.
You have the right to request the completion of the data concerning you, or the rectification of inaccurate data concerning you.
You have the right to request that the data in question be deleted immediately or, alternatively, that the processing of the data be restricted.
You have the right to request to obtain the data concerning you which you have provided to us, that it be communicated to other controllers.
You also have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw any consent you have given.

Right to object

You may object to any future processing of the data concerning you at any time. In particular, you may object to the processing of your data for the purposes of direct marketing.

Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These small text files are stored on your PC by our server. They support the display of our website, and help you to navigate on our website. Cookies collect data about your IP address, your browser, your operating system, and your Internet connection. We do not associate this information with personal data, and do not pass it on to third parties. Under no circumstances are cookies used by us to bring malware or spyware to your computer. You can also use our website without the use of cookies, which may limit the use of some of the representations and functions of our website. If you wish to deactivate the cookies, you can do so via special settings in your browser. Please use its help function to be able to carry out the corresponding changes. You can manage online ad cookies via the following links:

Collection of access data

The delivery and display of content via our website technically requires the collection of certain data. When you access our website, these so-called server log files are recorded by us or the provider of the web space. These log files do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you or your person. The corresponding information consists of the name of the website, the file, the current date, the amount of data, the web browser and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet provider, the referrer URL as the page from which you switched to our site, and the corresponding IP address. We use this data for displaying and delivering our content, and for statistical purposes. The information supports the provision and continuous improvement of our services. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the data mentioned should there be any suspicion of illegal use of our services.

Third-party content and services

The content on our website may also include content and services from other providers that complement our offer of information. Examples for such offers are maps by Google Maps, YouTube videos, or graphic representations by third parties. Using these services from third parties regularly requires the transmission of your IP address. This makes it possible for these providers to register your user IP address, and also to store it. We make every effort to include only those third-party providers who use IP addresses for the sole purpose of delivering the content. However, we have no influence on which third-party provider may store the IP address. This storage can, for example, serve statistical purposes. Should we become aware of storage processes by third parties, we will immediately inform our users of this fact. In this context, please note also the special data protection declarations for individual third-party providers and service providers whose services we use on our website. You will also find them in this data protection declaration.

Personal data

Within the frame of data avoidance and data economy, we collect personal data only to the extent and for as long as it is necessary for using our website, or as stipulated by law. We take the protection of your personal data seriously, and adhere strictly to the relevant legal regulations and this data protection declaration when collecting and processing personal data. If the purpose of the data collection ceases to apply, or if the end of the legal storage period is reached, the data collected will be blocked or deleted. Our website can regularly be used without passing on personal data. If we collect personal data – such as your name, address, or e-mail address – this data collection is voluntary. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent. Please note that data is generally not always transmitted securely on the Internet. Particularly in e-mail traffic, the protection of data exchange cannot be guaranteed.

Contact

When contacting us (e.g. via a contact form, by e-mail, telephone, or via social media), the user’s details are processed for the purpose of processing the contact enquiry and processing it in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) of the GDPR. The data of the users can be stored in a customer relationship management system or comparable inquiry organization. We delete the enquiries if they are no longer necessary. Furthermore, the statutory archiving obligations apply.

Server Logfiles

The server logfiles are anonymous data that are collected when you access our website. This information does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally, but is indispensable for technical reasons for delivering and displaying our content. Furthermore, they serve our statistics and the continuous optimization of our content. Typical log files are the date and time of access, the amount of data, the browser used for access and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of the provider commissioned by you, the page from which you came to our offer (referrer URL), and your IP address. Additionally, log files make it possible to carry out a precise check in the event of suspicion of illegal use of our website.

SSL Encryption

Our website uses SSL encryption when it comes to the transmission of confidential or personal content of our users. This encryption is activated, for example, during the processing of payment transactions, as well as for enquiries that you make to us via our website. Please make sure that the SSL encryption is activated at your end during corresponding activities. The use of encryption is easy to recognize: the display in your browser line changes from “http://” to “https://”. Data encrypted via SSL cannot be read by third parties. Only transmit your confidential information if SSL encryption is activated, and contact us if in doubt.

Objection against advertising e-mails

In the scope of the legal imprint obligation, we must publish our contact data. These are sometimes used by third parties to send unsolicited advertising and information. We hereby object to any transmission of advertising material of any kind not expressly authorized by us. Furthermore, we expressly reserve the right to take legal action against the unwanted and unsolicited transmission of advertising material. This applies in particular to so-called spam e-mails, spam letters, and spam faxes. We would like to point out that the unauthorized transmission of advertising material can affect competition law, civil law, and criminal law. Especially spam e-mails and spam faxes can lead to high claims for damages if they disrupt business operations by congesting mailboxes or fax machines.

Google Maps plugin

We use a plugin of the internet service Google Maps on our website. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc., located in the USA, CA 94043, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View. When you use Google Maps on our website, information about the use of this website and your IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA, and also stored on this server. We have no knowledge of the exact content of the data transmitted, nor of its use by Google. In this context, the company denies connecting the data with information from other Google services, and the collection of personal data. However, Google may transfer the information to third parties. If you deactivate JavaScript in your browser, you prevent Google Maps from running. However, you will then not be able to use a map display on our website. By using our website, you consent to the collection and processing of information by Google Inc. as described above. You can find out more about the data protection regulations and terms of use for Google Maps here:

Google Terms for Google Maps.
